I booked a cottage near Caernarfon this year. An upside down house set on a secluded road along the banks of the Menai Straits and only 10 minutes walk away from the town. Summer Holiday – Day 5. I had imagined that Rhyl wold be fairly seedy, but nothing prepared me for the reality. Endless caravan sites, followed by derelict shops, followed by nasty amusement arcades.
