Helligan

After a night of torrential rain , the day turned out unexpectedly nice. After the long drive to Cornwall yesterday, I did not want to spend too much time on the road today – I decided to revisit the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Hurst Castle and Keyhaven Marsh

Today didn’t quite work out as planned. I had scheduled a number of stops beginning with a walk around Keyhaven Marsh. When I arrived at Keyhaven I imediately saw the signs for the ferry to Hurst Castle and after a quick google on my iPhone I decided that it would be worth a visit.

Guller's Beer

The event included a guided tasting with their Master Brewer and we got to sample some great beers.

They are all 10/10 so I have ranked them in the order of my preference.

Running WordPress on OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Server

I previously ran my WordPress blog on an OS X client operating system. I’ve just bought a new Mac Mini running Snow Leopard Server to replace the old Mac Mini.

In theory it should be a lot more straight forward on the Server version of the operating system as everything you need is pre-installed. In practice, once you know what you need to do, it’s quite simple – but finding these things out is not so simple. In the hope this will help others here is my 4 step plan for getting Snow Leopard Server ready for WordPress.
