As I am walking in glorious sunshine the forecast is insisting that there is currently heavy rain and that this will continue throughout the day. I start the day with a cliff walk around West Pentire towards Porth Joke. I then climbed the very steep streets to reach the top of the town and the start of the coastal path. After the long drive to Cornwall yesterday, I did not want to spend too much time on the road today – I decided to revisit the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Last day so after saying goodbye to the lodge, I headed off to visit Cheddar Gorge. First stop at the Gorge was Gough’s cave where there are lots of very impressive formations to view.
