Had a walk through the woods at Trelissick and along the banks of the River Fal.

Had lunch and spent the afternoon in Falmouth.

Had a brief walk around Polurrian, where I will be staying for the next week before seeking out a great Sunday lunch in Gweek.

Then after lunch, spent the remainder of the day at the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek.

Summer Holiday 2011 Day 8 – Polurrian Via Durgan

Time to relocate from Tintagel to Polurrian.

We originally planned to stop off in Padstow on the way, but because of the rain, decide to head for Truro instead, in the hope that the rain would have eased off by then

After Truro, we stopped on at Glendurgan gardens.

Summer Holiday 2011 Day 6 – Trebarwith Strand

After four fairly strenuous days, the tide times were ideal for spending a day on the beach.

Finally got to walk around the headland at “The Rumps” today.

I’d seen this piece of the Cornish Coast from out at sea on a boat trip out of Padstow and have had it in my to-do list for a number of years.
